Then there is this temptation to change just that one sentence or paragraph. Make it more crispy, add a piece of information that you consider worthwhile to add. You do and hit publish. After all, you have proofread multiple times already.

Later on, you come back to your article, reading it once again. You read and you stumble. There is this one sentence or paragraph, which doesn’t fit the rest. Even worse there are typos and wrongly placed commas. It’s Frankenstein’s monster within your well-written text.

So what’s the moral of the story?

If you change more then a typo or grammar, proofread again.
